Product Description:
The drill pipes are used to transmit drill torque and pull back force during the directional drilling project.

The drill pipes bear twist, pullback, friction and vibration during the course of drilling.

We provide friction welded drill pipes wherein the end pieces have a resistance against corrosion fatigue in combination with that the heat affected zone of the weld is as strong as the rod itself. These drill pipes are seamless steel pipes and heat treated. And these pipes are manufactured strictly accord to API specification.

These pipes have friction welded tool joints which are specially hardened and made of the high quality steel.

The advantage of friction welding is that different steel qualities can be chosen for the mid-body section and the tool joints. A high quality alloy steel is used for the tool joints, increasing the strength in the threads where it is required, combined with a thin-wall tubular material in between, making the pipes light and easier to handle.

When required an additional surface hardening can be applied to the tool joints for increased wear resistance.

Note:
When inquiring on drill rods and/or drill pipes, please specify info. below:
1) Outside diameter, bore and length;
2) Size and type of connection: each end of rod/ pipe and special joint features;
3) Steel grade ;
4) Internal coating material;
5) Hardbanding material.
